- With the temperature rising remember never leave an animal in a parked car. On a mild day with the temperature in the 70’s, the temperature inside a car can reach triple digits very quickly. If you see an animal in a car and in distress, take down the car’s color, model, make, and license-plate number, have the owner paged inside nearby stores, and call local animal control or police.
